Weekend escapes to Tahoe, Yosemite, and Monterey are easily accessible.

Keysight is the world's leading electronic measurement company, helping scientists and engineers address their toughest technical challenges through innovations in wireless, modular, and software solutions.

As an IC Test Engineer, you will join the Keysight Technology Organization, a dedicated team of visionaries innovating and delivering the next generation of high frequency, state-of-the-art on-wafer test solutions. You will characterize and screen Keysight's internally designed, state-of-the-art ICs that enable breakthrough performance in Keysight's instruments. Keysight fosters a collaborative engineering environment emphasizing teamwork, enthusiasm, and excellence in creating high performance solutions.

As a key contributor in a diverse team, you will craft on-wafer microwave and millimeter-wave measurement solutions for Keysight's integrated circuits. Your test development will span exploratory R&D design validation of cutting-edge MMICs and automated small-volume test of integrated circuits designed and partly manufactured in-house. You will write code for test automation and adapt to different device designs. IC Test engineers will use industry-leading tools, supported by a world-class measurement lab, and collaborate with a broad, experienced engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Development: Design and develop test plans and procedures for ICs, including defining test methodologies and creating test programs. Write code for test automation and adapt to different device designs.
  • Test Execution: Perform functional tests and characterization on ICs using custom-built test stations and other tools to assess performance, functionality, and reliability.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on findings.
  • Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with in-house design and process engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
